How to Maintain Positive Rapport with Your Youngster in Difficult Situations.

At some point during their development, youngsters’ begin to construct their own perceptions about situations which, at times, may be different from our own. These “differences in opinion” could create conflict in our relationships with them; however, if we are willing to look at life with “kid lenses” on, we will realize that differences aren’t always “bad.” Tweaking our perspective will help us to maintain positive rapport with our youngsters, even in difficult situations.
